These terms cover your use of this website and the FHIRE matching service, operated by [legal entity]. By sending a brief or an application you agree to them.
What FHIRE does
FHIRE is a matching service. You describe a project, a person at FHIRE reviews it, and where we can we introduce you to a freelancer we believe fits the work. FHIRE is not a party to the agreement between you and the freelancer. We do not employ the freelancers we introduce and we do not perform the work ourselves.
Cost
There is no fee for sending a brief or receiving an introduction. You pay the freelancer for their work on terms you agree directly with them. The budget range you give us describes that project work; it is not a payment to FHIRE.
Timing
We aim to make an introduction within 24 hours of receiving a brief with enough detail to match. That is a target based on how we operate, not a guarantee. Some briefs take longer and we will tell you if yours is one of them. The target applies to the introduction, not to the delivery of your project and not to the review of freelancer applications.
Matching
We make introductions using our judgment and the information you give us. We do not guarantee that a match is available for every brief, that an introduced freelancer will accept the work, or that an engagement will produce a particular result.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information about your project, budget and timeline.
- Agree scope, terms and payment directly with the freelancer.
- Handle your own contracts, invoices, taxes and any licensing your project requires.
- Use the service for lawful business purposes only.
Freelancer applications
Submitting an application is not acceptance. Applications are reviewed by people against the published requirements, which include portfolio ownership, case studies, references, credentials and a practical review. We may accept, decline or later remove a freelancer at our discretion, including where work quality, communication or reliability falls below our standards. You confirm that the work you submit is yours to show and that your references have agreed to be contacted.
If something goes wrong
If you have concerns about communication, quality or fit, contact us and we will help where we can. We cannot guarantee a specific outcome, refund or replacement, and any payment dispute is between you and the freelancer.
Acceptable use
Do not submit false information, use the forms to send unsolicited commercial messages, attempt to interfere with the site, or scrape or copy its content for a competing service.
Intellectual property
The FHIRE name, this website and its content belong to [legal entity]. Work created by a freelancer for you is governed by whatever you agree with that freelancer.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, FHIRE is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or from work performed by a freelancer you were introduced to. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law and venue], and disputes are brought in the courts there.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top reflects the current version. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
